Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Diagnose and treat complicated conditions psychiatry.
Conduct specialized Clinics.
Manage referral patients at the National level.
Conduct Ward rounds.
Supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical and Health Professionals under him/her.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines in psychiatry.
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Supervise and train intern Doctors.
Enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Conduct research in psychiatry.
Conduct continuous professional development in their area of specialization at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital.
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for psychiatry services.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
