Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Diagnose, treat and manage medical conditions and perform complicated procedures in the area of speciality.
Conduct specialized Clinics
Manage referral patients at the National level.
Conduct Ward rounds.
Supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical and Health Professionals under him/her.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Supervise and train intern Doctors
Enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Conduct research in the reproductive health.
Conduct continuous professional development in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Division at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for ophthalmic surgery
