Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Diagnose and treat internal medicine conditions at the Hospital.
Conduct specialized Clinics
Manage referral patients at the National level.
Conduct Ward rounds.
Supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical and Health Professionals under him/her.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines in internal medicine
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Supervise and train intern Doctors.
Enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Conduct research in the reproductive health.
Conduct continuous professional development in internal medicine Division at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital.
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for ophthalmic surgery.
