Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Carry out ultrasound scan examinations.
Provide patient care in the ultrasound scan unit.
Prepare and provide ultrasound scan reports on findings to the referring clinician.
Carry out quality control procedures for ultrasound scan investigations.
Provide technical support to physicians and radiologists during interventional procedures.
Perform managerial and administrative duties.
Train sonography students and other health trainees on clinical placement and rotations.
Mentor, supervise and appraise subordinate staff.
Perform any other duties related to the post as may be assigned from time to time
