Provides specialized Maternal-Fetal Medicine services and manages high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal and fetal conditions.
Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Provides specialized Maternal-Fetal Medicine services and manages high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal and fetal conditions.
Provides expert clinical advice and leads multidisciplinary management of complicated maternal and fetal cases.
Supervises, mentors and trains medical and other health professionals in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Develops and implements clinical guidelines, protocols and standards for Maternal-Fetal Medicine services.
Conducts and participates in clinical research, audits, quality improvement and maternal and perinatal mortality reviews.
Provides specialist outreach and technical support to other health facilities.
Advises management on matters relating to Maternal-Fetal Medicine services
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Responsible Officer.
