Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Conduct specialized Clinics.
To manage referral patients at the National level.
To conduct Ward rounds.
To supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical and Health Professionals under him/her.
To supervise and train intern Doctors.
To enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Diagnose and treat complicated Internal Medicine conditions.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines in Internal Medicine.
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Conduct research in Internal Medicine.
Conduct continuous professional development in their area of specialization at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital.
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for psychiatry services.
