Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Receive patients and review their requests for X-ray examinations.
Prepare radiographic equipment and patients for the required investigations.
Liaise with ward management and other clinical personnel in preparing patients for radiographic examinations.
Ensure that patients, staff and the public are protected from unnecessary exposure to ionising radiation.
Maintain radiographic equipment in a safe and functional condition and report faults for appropriate action.
Observe professional codes of conduct, ethics and radiation safety procedures.
Manage and account for allocated equipment, supplies and other resources.
Participate in relevant research, training and continuous professional development activities.
Prepare and submit periodic reports.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
