  • Good communication, counseling and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time
  • Conduct rapid assessment and triage of patients presenting with emergency conditions.
  • Provide immediate nursing interventions and assist in resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients.
  • Administer prescribed medicines and treatments in accordance with professional standards and established protocols.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical status and response to treatment, and promptly escalate deterioration.
  • Assist medical officers and other clinicians in emergency procedures within the scope of nursing practice.
  • Coordinate the timely referral and transfer of patients requiring specialised care.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatments, observations and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure availability, functionality and appropriate use of emergency equipment, medicines and supplies.
  • Apply infection prevention, patient safety and emergency preparedness procedures.
  • Participate in training, mentoring and continuous professional development in emergency nursing.
  • Provide health education and appropriate support to patients and their relatives.
