Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Provide individual and group counselling services to clients.
Assess clients’ counselling needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
Maintain confidential counselling records in accordance with applicable professional and institutional requirements.
Provide psychosocial support, guidance and referral services where necessary.
Identify clients requiring specialised mental health or other professional services and facilitate appropriate referrals.
Conduct health education, awareness and community outreach activities relevant to counselling services.
Collaborate with other professionals and service providers in managing clients’ needs.
Observe professional ethics, confidentiality and safeguarding requirements.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on counselling activities.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
