Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

Provides public health nursing services to individuals, families and communities.
Conducts health education and health promotion activities.
Participates in disease prevention, surveillance and control activities.
Participates in immunization and other public health programmes.
Conducts community mobilization and sensitization on health issues.
Participates in community health assessments and identification of health needs.
Collects and maintains public health information and records.
Participates in monitoring, evaluation and quality improvement activities.
Prepares and submits public health nursing reports.
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
