Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Conduct specialized Clinics.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Diagnose and treat complicated Pediatrics and Child Health conditions.
Manage referral patients at the National level.
Conduct Ward rounds.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines in Pediatrics and Child Health.
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Conduct continuous professional development in their area of specialization at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital.
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for psychiatry services.
To supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical Officers and other Health professionals under him/her.
Supervise and train Intern Doctors.
