Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

Provides expert specialized neonatal care and manages critically ill, premature and high-risk newborns.
Provides expert advice and leads multidisciplinary management of complex neonatal conditions.
Supervises, mentors and provides technical guidance to medical and other health professionals.
Leads training, research, clinical audit and quality improvement activities in Neonatology.
Develops and implements clinical guidelines, protocols and standards for neonatal services.
Provides specialist outreach and technical support to other health facilities.
Advises management on matters relating to neonatal services.
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Responsible Officer.
