:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients.
Assess, monitor and document patients' conditions and report changes promptly.
Implement nursing care plans and prescribed treatment.
Participate in resuscitation and critical care procedures.
Operate and monitor critical care equipment and ensure its proper use.
Supervise, coach and mentor junior nursing staff and students.
Liaise with medical and other health professionals in managing critically ill patients.
Ensure availability and proper utilization of drugs, supplies and equipment.
Maintain accurate nursing records and prepare periodic reports.
Participate in research, health education and quality-improvement activities.
Promote adherence to professional standards, the Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
