Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Supervises, mentors and trains medical and other health professionals in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Examines, diagnoses and treats patients with maternal and fetal complications and provides appropriate follow-up care
Participates in multidisciplinary management of complicated maternal and fetal cases.
Participates in clinical research, clinical audit, quality improvement and maternal and perinatal mortality reviews.
Participates in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, protocols and standards for Maternal and Fetal Medicine services
Participates in specialist outreach and provides technical support to other health facilities.
Maintains accurate clinical records and prepares reports on Maternal and Fetal Medicine services.
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Responsible Officer
