Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Liaise with wards/units and departments to provide quality nursing care to ENT patients.
Provide specialised nursing care to patients with ENT conditions.
Prepare patients for ENT investigations and surgical procedures.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
Administer prescribed medicines and treatments and monitor patients' responses.
Maintain accurate nursing records and reports.
Educate patients and relatives on ENT care, treatment and follow-up.
Ensure proper utilisation and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Participate in training of nursing students and other health workers.
Participate in research and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
