Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Assist in ensuring efficient management of orthopaedic surgery services at the hospital and within its catchment area.
Supervise and mentor Medical Officers, intern doctors and other health professionals under their supervision.
Plan and coordinate training programmes for health professionals.
Plan and coordinate continuous professional development in orthopaedic surgery for health professionals at the hospital.
Provide technical and professional advice to Government and the institution on matters relating to orthopaedic surgery.
Conduct research in orthopaedic surgery.
Prepare and submit periodic reports.
