:
Ensure adherence to national health service standards, professional standards and guidelines.
Treat and properly manage patients.
Participate in planning and budgeting for resources allocated to the department
Ensure availability and proper utilisation of essential drugs, equipment and other supplies
Participate in community outreach programmes
Provide support supervision to lower-level health facilities within the catchment area
Participate in health data collection, research and preparation of periodic reports
Participate in departmental meetings and other institutional activities
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
