Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
Diagnose and treat complicated emergency conditions
Conduct specialized Clinics.
Manage referral patients at the National level.
Conduct Ward rounds.
Supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical and Health Professionals under him/her.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines in emergency Medicine.
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Supervise and train intern Doctors.
Enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Conduct research in emergency medicine.
Conduct continuous professional development in their area of specialization at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital.
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for emergency services.
