Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Provides specialized cardiology services and manages patients with cardiovascular conditions
Examines, investigates, diagnoses and treats patients with cardiovascular diseases
Assists in the management of complex cardiac cases and participates in multidisciplinary care
Supervises and mentors Medical Officers, Resident Doctors, Interns and other health professionals as assigned
Participates in teaching, Continuing Professional Development, clinical research and audit
Participates in specialist outreach and provision of technical support to other health facilities
Maintains accurate clinical records and prepares reports on cardiology services
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Responsible Officer
