Provide specialized diagnosis, treatment and management of ENT conditions and perform relevant procedures.
Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Provide specialized diagnosis, treatment and management of ENT conditions and perform relevant procedures.
Manage complex and referred ENT cases and participate in specialist clinics and ward rounds.
Supervise, mentor and provide technical guidance to Medical Officers, Associate Consultants, Intern Doctors and other health workers.
Participate in teaching, training, mentorship and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of health workers.
Conduct and support research, clinical audits and quality improvement activities in ENT.
Develop and implement ENT clinical guidelines, protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
Provide technical advice on ENT services, equipment, medicines, supplies and other logistics.
Participate in specialist outreach and multidisciplinary clinical services.
Promote adherence to professional standards, ethics, patient safety and quality of care.
Prepare and submit reports on ENT service activities and performance.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
