  • Good Communication skills
  • Clean and prepare the operating theatre before and after surgical procedures.
  • Assist in arranging theatre equipment, instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
  • Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating theatre.
  • Assist in moving and positioning patients as directed by authorised health workers.
  • Assist in the handling, cleaning and proper storage of theatre equipment and instruments.
  • Ensure that theatre supplies and materials are available and properly arranged.
  • Assist in maintaining proper hygiene and infection prevention and control in the theatre.
  • Report damaged, missing or malfunctioning equipment and supplies to the responsible officer.
  • Assist in maintaining records relating to theatre activities as directed.
  • Observe confidentiality, professional conduct and infection prevention requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the theatre and related areas.
