  • Provide technical support in training staff and nutrition students on field placement.
  • Plan, coordinate, supervise, monitor and evaluate nutrition services.
  • Provide technical guidance on nutrition service delivery.
  • Develop and implement nutrition work plans, budgets and programmes.
  • Supervise, mentor and appraise nutrition staff.
  • Provide technical guidance on management of acute and chronic malnutrition and nutrition-related conditions.
  • Coordinate nutrition research and utilisation of nutrition data.
  • Coordinate and facilitate continuing professional development for nutrition staff.
  • Ensure adherence to professional standards and ethical requirements.
  • Manage and account for allocated resources.
  • Prepare and submit periodic nutrition reports.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
