Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Receive, clean and prepare medical instruments and supplies for sterilization.
Operate sterilization equipment under supervision.
Package and label sterile items appropriately.
Monitor and record sterilization processes and cycles.
Store and distribute sterile supplies to user departments.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sterilization area.
Observe infection prevention and control procedures.
Maintain records of sterilized items and equipment.
Report equipment faults and shortages of supplies.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
