  • Demonstrable qualities of leadership and integrity.
  • Perform medical imaging and radiographic procedures in accordance with approved standards.
  • Provide image interpretation/pattern recognition support to referring clinicians.
  • Ensure protection of patients, staff and the public against radiation.
  • Implement radiography and medical imaging quality assurance protocols and guidelines and guidelines
  • Monitor the quality and safety of imaging services and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
  • Manage and maintain medical imaging equipment, accessories and related logistics.
  • Ensure proper application of radiation protection and safety practices.
  • Train, mentor and provide technical guidance to Medical Imaging Technologists, students and other health workers.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of staff under the imaging unit.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on medical imaging activities and performance.
  • Participate in development and implementation of medical imaging standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
