Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Participate in planning, directing, coordinating, budgeting, monitoring and evaluating Physiotherapy activities in the Hospital
Provide rehabilitative services to patients
Advise on specifications for physiotherapy appliances
Train patients on the use of physiotherapy methods and appliances
Organize and conduct physiotherapy outreach services
Requisition for equipment and other supplies for the unit
Ensure quality assurance in physiotherapy services
Ensure that equipment are secure functional and well maintained
Initiate and participate in research activities
Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff
Promote observance of the professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him/or her
Participate in carrying out human resource management activities i.e. m) identifying manpower needs, training, promotional, leave and deployment.
Manage and account for allocated resources.
Compile and submit periodic reports
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
