Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Participate in a continuous nursing coverage on Wards/Unites by receiving reports and effectively handing over to in-coming shift
Receive patients, register admissions, discharge patients and record deaths
Provide Nursing Care services to patients
Keep patients comfortable and ensure clean and safe environment
Keep patients comfortable and ensure a healthy environment
Give out treatment as prescribed and carry out nursing procedures
Carry out observations, keep records and ensure their safe custody
Participate in Doctors/Clinical Officers Ward Rounds
Receive patients, register admissions and discharges
Prepare patients for meals and participate in serving them
Ensure that aseptic procedures are adhered to in the preparation of sterile procedures
Carry out Health Education to patients and their attendants
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
