Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Participate in the development of medical equipment policies.
Participate in the development of medical equipment maintenance standards and guidelines related to health infrastructure.
Provide routine maintenance, repair and calibration of hospital and medical equipment.
Participate in conducting user-training courses.
Update and maintain the medical equipment inventory.
Participate in training technicians and artisans in medical equipment repair and maintenance.
Support routine maintenance and repairs of vehicles and heavy plant machinery.
Identify and document faults on motor vehicles, cycles and other machines.
Certify repair works for heavy plant machinery.
Supervise repair works.
Requisition for funds for the purchase of spares.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
