Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Assist the Principal Anaesthetic Officer to organise and coordinate anaesthesia, emergency and critical care services in the Hospital.
Provide safe, quality, emergency, anaesthesia and critical care services to patients.
Provide safe patient care during both intra and inter-hospital transfers.
Provide 24-hour coverage of anaesthesia and critical care services in the Hospital.
Evaluate and refer patients for specialised anaesthesia and critical care services.
Participate in research activities and health data collection.
Participate in continuous professional development programs.
Prepare and submit periodic reports
Participate in support supervision of anaesthesia and critical care services.
Manage performance of staff
Participate in planning and budgeting for the Hospital.
Participate in clinical work and ensure proper management of patients.
Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
