Refer complicated cases.
Initiate and participate in research activities.
Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Diagnose, treat and manage patients with mental illnesses
Ensure maximum protection of patients, relatives and staff.
Participate in planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluating Psychiatric activities
Manage and account for allocated resources.
Promote observance of the professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him or her.
Carry out human resource management activities such as identifying manpower needs, training, leave and deployment.
Compile and submit reports.
