Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Manage and account for allocated resources.
Compile and submit periodic reports.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Diagnose, treat and manage patients with eye diseases.
Refer complicated cases to Medical Officer Special Grade (Ophthalmology).
Ensure protection of patients, relatives and staff.
Carry out community sensitization about eye health care.
Initiate and participate in research activities.
Impart knowledge and skills to staff and students.
Promote observance of the Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him/her.
Participate in planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluating ophthalmic clinical activities
