Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Assist in planning, directing, coordinating, budgeting, monitoring and evaluating nursing services for the Hospital.
Ensure twenty-four (24) hour coverage by nursing staff.
Requisition for equipment and other supplies.
Ensure that equipment is secure, functional and well maintained.
Assess the performance of Nursing Staff as well as coaching, mentoring and training them.
Initiate and participate in operational research activities.
Promote observance of the Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him or her.
Assist in planning, implementing and monitoring outreach services in the catchment area.
Manage and account for allocated resources.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
